Galleria Post Design is delighted to be host, from 5 December, to the exhibition-event "Xmart Design”, a meeting between art and design with the special participation of Nathalie Du Pasquier, Alessandro Mendini, Massimo Giacon.

Il Design inscatola l'arte.
The meeting between street art, related by definition to the public space and its possibilities of public display, and interior design, considered on the other hand as a consummation of personal and private creativity, is an innovative challenge for both these arts. Memphis, in collaboration with the Art Kitchen artists, has taken up this challenge by inviting some of the leading protagonists of the street art movement and a number of designers to conceive an object specially for this occasion. Fifteen cubes of innovative design will be customized by Nathalie Du Pasquier, Alessandro Mendini, Massimo Giacon and some of the leading exponents of Italian underground and street art in a mingling of styles and expressions. From Squaz’s cartoon art to ivan’s poetry and from Tvboy’s pop-rock graphics to the sensual curves of Nais: a meeting between different creative styles and perspectives from which is welded a synthesis with the power to break down the ideal frontier between public and private, between taste as a personal dimension and its fruition at the collective level. The whole is curated by Jacopo Perfetti, a protagonist and agitator of the Milanese cultural network, in collaboration with Vittorio Locatelli.
